Who ever is reading this, I hope your day is filled with peace, positivity and productivity!
I’m so excited to share this with you!! I can’t believe it’s been a year! A full year since the creation of Peace and Preparation. Yay!! Happy Birthday Peace and Preparation!! I’m so grateful that God put it on my spirit to do this a year ago. I created my blog that I have always wanted to do for years!! I remember the days I would talk about wanting to start my own blog and now I can finally say that I have!
Peace and preparation is literally a pandemic baby! When I created this blog, the idea was to share my peace with others. I wanted to share how I’d start my day with prayer, coffee or tea and relaxation. But it became so much more than that. It became an opportunity for me to express myself in one of my favorite ways, writing poetry and just journaling about my feelings and experiences.
Do you know how therapeutic this is? I can honestly say that sharing my story through journaling and poetry on this platform has helped me take a lot of leaps of faith! I find myself becoming more open to love of myself and understanding for other people. Why? Well we each have a story to share. We each have gifts that are waiting to be cultivated in us. That not only helps us in pursuing our purpose and healing, but it also helps and inspires others.
I hope that my experiences and my sharing inspires you to continue on your journey of living your God ordained purpose. I hope it inspires you to take a leap of faith. Don’t sit on the very thing that makes you unique, special and set apart. You heal not only yourself when you pursue your purpose. You also help to heal others.
